FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — When returning home Aug. 29, a man received a strange package on his door step that didn’t belong to him.
The 53-year-old man said the box had another person’s name on it with his address. The package had been sent to a location in Colorado, but was refused at its destination and was returned to the Forsyth County address. The original mailing point was from Gainesville and was sent on Aug. 23.
The man asked deputies to open the package, and a bag of methamphetamine was located hidden inside a deodorant stick.
The drugs were taken to the sheriff’s office precinct to be destroyed.
