FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — A man was caught red-handed recently after he was apparently trying to steal a car from a local Kia dealership.
The driver’s door was cracked open but there were no obvious indications of forced entry.
The deputy went to the passenger side and saw a man in the driver side and commanded him to exit. After securing the man, deputies found a backpack in the car with adjustable pliers, a cellphone and a jump box under the hood that was cracked open.
The man said he was looking for easy money in the form of cars that were unlocked.
He had an active warrant out of Fulton County for probation violation, so he was arrested and charged with theft entering auto, possession of tools in the commission of a crime and loitering and prowling.
