ALPHARETTA, Ga. — Police responded Dec. 20 to a shots fired call in Compass Pointe Crossing shortly after midnight.
The family was fast asleep, when the father heard a loud noise and what sounded like boxes falling. Police found a bullet on the floor next to the dining room window and at least three holes in the walls of the father’s office. One bullet was lodged in the ceiling.
When police asked the homeowners if they knew anyone who would be angry at them or had recently had any altercations with them, they said no. The teenage son, however, said that recently he had gotten into a disagreement with someone.
The son said that a few days before, an unknown person had asked him for marijuana, but he said that he didn’t have any because he is on probation.
