Early voting runs until Nov. 3

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — Early voting will begin Oct. 16 and run until Nov. 3 in Forsyth County.

Voting is for the Nov. 7 House District 26 special election and the City of Cumming municipal general election.

Advance voting locations and times include:

Weekdays

8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Oct. 16 — 27

Monday — Friday

8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 30—Nov. 3

Saturday, Oct. 28

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Election Day voting will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 7. On that day, voters must go to their designated polling place to vote.

All nine polling places involved in these elections are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day.

Candidates running for Cumming City Council include incumbent Mayor H. Ford Gravitt and opponent Troy Brumbelow, Post 1 incumbent Councilman Chuck Welch and opponent Chad R. Crane, and Post 2 incumbent Councilman Quincy Holton and opponent Jason Evans.
