JOHNS CREEK, Ga. – A Public Information Meeting is scheduled for the Rogers Bridge restoration project at Johns Creek City Hall Tuesday, March 28, 6 - 8 p.m. at City Hall 12000 Findley Road.
This meeting is an open house forum which means thee is no formal presentation given.
However, staff from Johns Creek and Duluth along with the design consultants will be present to answer questions and gather feedback from interested participants.
Residents may drop by any time between 6 and 8 to look at concepts for the bridge, ask questions of the design team and offer input.
Rogers Bridge will be an important link between Gwinnett and Fulton Counties. It will connect the cities of Duluth and Johns Creek park facilities and will restore connectivity for cyclists and pedestrians.
This project is a partnership of Johns Creek, Duluth, Gwinnett County and Fulton County.
With parkland on both sides of the bridge, the cities and the counties are excited to restore this connection and offer a regional bike/pedestrian access to both sides of the Chattahoochee River.
Duluth will also host a Public Information Open House in the Community Room of the Duluth City Hall, 3167 Main St., Duluth 30097. That meeting is Thursday, March 30, 4:30 – 7 p.m.
