Pieper O’Brien Herr Architects is seeking a reliable, full time Accountant to process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Seeking a multi-task oriented person who possesses strong people skills and can follow directions and make decisions independently when needed. Primary Responsibilities: • Review Vendor Invoices and Employee Expense Reports. • Communicate with vendors and employees to resolve discrepancies when needed. • Process payments for Vendors and Employee Expense Reports on a bi-monthly basis. • Assign Project numbers and set up new projects. • Print Project Detail Reports and distribute to Project Managers (PM) for review. • Update projects with red-lined Project Detail Reports and schedule billing session with Controller and PM. • Process and submit invoices to customer via websites, print, or mail. • Help the Controller with collection of past due invoices. • Assist in the budget process and YE Accounting review with the CPA. • Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: • Minimum 2 years Accounting Experience. • BA/BS Degree required. Accounting Degree a plus. • Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook. • Feel comfortable working in a deadline based environment. • Excellent verbal skills and able to multi-task. • Have a desire and aptitude for learning Accounting Software. Deltek Vision experience a plus. • Must be a legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship. • Must pass a drug, background, and reference check.
